Background: Thyroid dysfunction during pregnancy negatively impacts both the woman and her offspring, with the early gestational period being critical for potential repercussions. Establishing pre-conception and during-conception care strategies is crucial for favorable pregnancy outcomes.
Objective: This review aims to compile the most recent scientific evidence to guide diagnostic and therapeutic approaches based on clinical cases, including a description of thyroid physiology during pregnancy and strategies for identifying high-risk patients for treatment.

Glucagon-like peptide-1 receptor agonists rank among the most effective medications for lowering blood glucose and body weight, as well as reducing cardiovascular risk in individuals with diabetes. Observational studies complement experimental evidence in new settings, different populations, and real-world healthcare practices.

Objective: We assessed maternal and perinatal outcomes in pregnant women with type 1 diabetes, treated with continuous subcutaneous insulin infusion and real time continuous glucose monitoring.
Methods: This is a retrospective study, analyzing the basal characteristics, glycemic control, maternal and perinatal outcomes of pregnant women with type 1 diabetes, who were on an insulin pump with continuous glucose monitoring between 2011 and 2015.
Results: Fourteen patients were included.
Background: Type 1 diabetes can be difficult to control. Augmented pump therapy (CSII-rtCGM) has become an important tool for controlling blood glucose and decreasing hypoglycemia.
Methods: Describe the results 1 year after starting CSII-rtCGM in patients with diabetes in Medellín, Colombia.
