This clinical report describes the replacement of a traumatized maxillary canine that was extracted after unsuccessful orthodontic extrusion with an implant-supported restoration. Guided bone regeneration surgery was performed, followed by a second surgery with implant placement plus simultaneous bone and tissue regeneration. Objective: Congenital absence of maxillary lateral incisors is a frequent clinical challenge which must be solved by a multidisciplinary approach in order to obtain an esthetic and functional restorative treatment.
