Time for Care: Male and Female Voices Based on Their Caregiving Experiences.

: To understand the lived experiences of the informal caregivers of people with chronic noncommunicable diseases and their interpretations of the significance of that care. The perspectives of men and women interacting with people in a situation of chronicity are examined. : This qualitative, phenomenological, hermeneutic study was based on Van Manen's comprehensive and interpretative vision.

Social construction of the experience of living with chronic kidney disease.

Objective: To understand the experience of people living with Chronic Kidney Disease who have been transplanted, from the meanings constructed based on the experienced phenomenon.

Method: Hermeneutic-phenomenological study based on the five lifeworld existentials, according to Van Manen's theoretical framework. Eleven transplanted patients participated in the study and data collection was carried out through semi-structured interviews, after approval of the study by the Ethics Committee of the University of Antioquia.
