Introduction: Viscoelastic hemostatic assays (VHA) are integral in contemporary hemostatic resuscitation, offering insights into clot formation, firmness, and lysis for rapid diagnosis and targeted therapy. Large animal models, particularly swine, provide anatomical and physiological analogies for coagulation research. Despite the growing use of VHAs, the ClotPro device's applicability in porcine models remains unexplored.

Methods: HSI (Tivita Tissue System) measurements of tissue oxygenation, haemoglobin, and water content in the skin (ear) and kidney were evaluated in a double-hit porcine model of major abdominal surgery and haemorrhagic shock.
Background: The use of dietary and herbal supplements (DIHES) is widespread among people with multiple sclerosis (PwMS). PwMS are a highly informed patient group, and they use several types of sources to seek information on subjects related to their disease. However, it is still unknown where PwMS seek information about DIHES.
