To participate or not to participate: The troublesome question of nurses' conscientious objection to abortion: A qualitative study.

Aim: To report a study investigating the implementation of the "conscience clause" by practising nurses in two National Health Service Hospital Trusts in the UK.

Design: A qualitative study.

Methods: Data were collected from 2018 to 2020 through qualitative face-to-face interviews with 20 nurses, transcribed verbatim and analyzed by thematic analysis.

Improving access to treatment for alcohol dependence in primary care: A qualitative investigation of factors that facilitate and impede treatment access and completion.

Background: Timely intervention for people with alcohol dependence in primary care is needed. Primary care services have a key role in supporting adults with alcohol dependence and require appropriate provision of services.

Objective: To examine the perceptions of both primary care practitioners and adults with alcohol dependence regarding service provision and to describe help seeking behaviours for adults with alcohol dependence.

Exploring pharmacists' views surrounding conscientious objection to abortion and implications in practice.

Background: General Pharmaceutical Council standards (UK) state 'pharmacy professionals have the right to practise in line with their religion, personal values or beliefs as long as they …make sure that person-centred care is not compromised', indicating a potential conflict for pharmacists who wish to exercise their right to conscientious objection (CO) to abortion while maintaining a duty of care to their patients.

Objective: The objective of this study was to explore pharmacists' views of conscientious objection to abortion and whether this included the supply of EC and the impact on practice.

Method: Eighteen UK pharmacists were interviewed using semistructured interviews.

A formative study exploring perceptions of physical activity and physical activity monitoring among children and young people with cystic fibrosis and health care professionals.

Background: Physical activity (PA) is associated with reduced hospitalisations and maintenance of lung function in patients with Cystic Fibrosis (CF). PA is therefore recommended as part of standard care. Despite this, there is no consensus for monitoring of PA and little is known about perceptions of PA monitoring among children and young people with CF.
