Historically, clinical stage I (CS-I) seminoma was also treated with CHT or RT, but in the past 2 decades practice has shifted toward active surveillance for CS-I with RT or CHT reserved for patients with progression to CS-II. Objective: To examine the incidence and predictors of upgrading and upstaging among patients with Gleason 3+4 FIR disease.
Design, Setting, And Participants: The study involved 10 089 patients in the National Cancer Database diagnosed from 2010 to 2012 with Gleason 3+4 disease, prostate-specific antigen (PSA) <10ng/ml, and cT1c-2a prostate cancer with <50% positive biopsy cores (PBCs) who underwent radical prostatectomy.
Purpose: The use of large-field external beam reirradiation (re-RT) after pelvic radiation therapy (RT) for genitourinary (GU) cancers has not been reported. We report the results of such treatment in patients with either symptomatic GU second malignant neoplasms or locally recurrent pelvic tumors after initial RT for whom surgery or further systemic therapy was not an option.
Methods And Materials: The records of 28 consecutive patients with advanced, bulky GU malignancies treated with high-dose, large-field re-RT with palliative intent between 2008 and 2014 were retrospectively reviewed.
Background: Controversy exists regarding the optimal management strategy for clinical stage IS seminomatous (SGCT) and nonseminomatous germ cell tumors (NSGCT) of the testis.

Design, Setting, And Participants: Using the National Cancer Data Base (2004-2012), we identified 1362 patients with clinical stage IS SGCT and NSGCT of the testis, treated with either adjuvant treatment (AT) or observation.
Introduction: Upgrading computerized tomography (CT) scanners to iterative reconstruction techniques (IRT) decreases radiation dose. This reduction, combined with changes in surveillance protocols in clinical stage I testicular cancer (CS1TC) measurably decrease the lifetime attributable risk (LAR) of dying of radiation-associated cancer.
Materials And Methods: This IRB-approved study enrolled 24 CS1TC patients who had CT scans on the same Toshiba Aquilion 64 CT before and after IRT software installation.
Our purpose was to characterize the clinical influences, genetic risk factors, and gene mechanisms contributing to persistent cisplatin-induced peripheral neuropathy (CisIPN) in testicular cancer survivors (TCSs). TCS given cisplatin-based therapy completed the validated EORTC QLQ-CIPN20 questionnaire. Patients And Methods: We identified 9771 patients with clinical N1M0 prostate cancer diagnosed from 1998 to 2012 using the National Cancer Database. We used multivariable logistic regression modeling to identify patient-specific factors that were associated with a reduced likelihood of receiving prostate or pelvic radiation or radical prostatectomy.
Purpose To provide new information on adverse health outcomes (AHOs) in testicular cancer survivors (TCSs) after four cycles of etoposide and cisplatin (EPX4) or three or four cycles of bleomycin, etoposide, cisplatin (BEPX3/BEPX4).
