Ichthyosis covers a wide spectrum of diseases affecting the cornification of the skin. In recent years, new advances in understanding the pathophysiology of ichthyosis have been made. This knowledge, combined with constant development of pathogenesis-based therapies, such as protein replacement therapy and gene therapy, are rather promising for patients with inherited skin diseases.

There are reports of multiple groups of skin lesions presenting in different stages of this diagnosis. The most common reported groups are chilblains, vesicular eruptions, morbilliformexanthems, acute urticaria and livedo.

Methods: Patients (n = 85) treated with EGFRI completed five questionnaires during the first 6 weeks of treatment. 77 patients provided enough data for the sub-analysis.
