Objective: The current study aimed to examine the effects of physical activity interventions on executive functions in children and adolescents with neurodevelopmental disorders and to identify possible moderators and the interactions among moderators.
Methods: Six databases (Web of Science, PsycINFO, SPORTDiscus, MEDLINE, CINAHL, and ERIC) were searched from inception to January 2024. Randomized controlled trials/quasi-experimental designs applying physical activity interventions and reporting at least one executive function outcome in children and adolescents with neurodevelopmental disorders were included.
Objective: To review and synthesize the effectiveness of exercise interventions on mobility, postural control, and falls in older adults with mild cognitive impairment (MCI).
Data Sources: This review was registered with PROSPERO (CRD42023453320) and adhered to the PRISMA guidelines. The PubMed, Embase, APA PsycInfo, Cochrane Library, Web of Science, CINAHL, and SPORTDiscus were searched from inception until September 2024.
Background: Interventions focusing on individual behaviours (physical activity, sedentary behaviour, sleep) of preschool-aged children have been widely studied. Objectives: The purpose of this systematic review was to provide a comprehensive summary of the factors related to inclusion in IPE of students with SEN, by applying a socio-ecological model (SEM).
Objectives: This study aimed to examine a moderated mediation model of the associations among physical activity (PA), quality of life (QoL), and self-concept (SC) in children and adolescents with physical disabilities (PDs) and intellectual disabilities (IDs).
Materials And Methods: A total of 288 children and adolescents with PDs and IDs, aged between 6 and 17 years, were recruited from 16 special schools in Hong Kong.
