Article Synopsis
  • The study aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of biceps tenodesis (BT) at different pressure levels during superior capsule reconstruction (SCR) in rabbits with massive rotator cuff tears.
  • Thirty rabbits were divided into three groups based on pressure applied during the BT procedure, with results assessed after a 4-week follow-up via histopathological analysis.
  • Group 2, which experienced the lowest pressure, showed significantly reduced extracellular matrix, cellularity levels, and vascularity compared to the other groups, suggesting that lower pressure exposure may enhance the success of BT in SCR.
