Cognitive disability in estrogenectomited and old rats with development of diabetes mellitus.

Introduction: In recent years, there have been many works devoted to the study of the effects of sex hormones on cognitive function. Clinical studies have found that inmenopausal women, the tendency to develop type 2 diabetes will increase, the spatial and short-term working memory worsens, and there is a tendency to develop depression. The findings suggest that estrogens are involved in the mechanisms of insulin resistance in tissues, in the synthesis of mediators in the catecholaminergic systems of the brain, but many questions remain unresolved.

Role of nitric oxide in pathogenesis of tumor growth and its possible application in cancer treatment.

In this review, the role of nitric oxide (NO) in the pathogenesis of the tumor growth and possibilities of its application in the treatment of cancer patients are analyzed. NO is one of the most important mediators of physiological processes being involved in the regulation of practically all body functions in health and disease. The role of NO in the development of many pathological conditions has been extensively studied and debated in recent years.

[Cytophlavin inclusion in complex treatment of diabetic foot syndrome with signs of lower limb blood vessels medicalcinosis].

The aim of this study was to evaluate the effect of cytoflavin inclusion in therapy regimens of patients with diabetic foot syndrome and medicalcinosis on the microcirculation of the lower limb blood vessels. For this purpose, 64 patients with type II diabetes mellitus (subcompensated form), diabetic foot syndrome and signs of medicalcinosis foot blood vessels of various severity were examined. All patients were divided into 2 groups depending on the therapy scheme: patients of group I (33 people) received insulin, antibiotics, disaggregants, statins, anti-inflammatory drugs, painkillers, detoxification therapy.

SURGICAL PREVENTION AND TREATMENT OF POSTOPERATIVE HYPOPARATHYROIDISM IN PATIENTS OPERATED ON THYROID GLAND.

The objective of the research was to develop and evaluate the algorithm of prevention and treatment of postoperative hypoparathyroidism (PHPT) based on determining parathyroid glands (PTG) viability and the use of antihypoxant-antioxidant therapy in the postoperative period. The research was based on the results of a comprehensive examination and treatment of 60 patients who were operated for thyroid gland diseases. The patients underwent inpatient treatment at the surgical department of Ivano-Frankivsk Central City Clinical Hospital and Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Oncology Center from 2015 to 2017.
