Aqueous zinc ion batteries (AZIBs) have been widely investigated due to their characteristics of convenient operation and intrinsic safety. However, there are several issues to be addressed in AZIBs, such as slow diffusion kinetics of Zn, cathode material dissolution and the dendrite formation of zinc anodes. Thus, it is challenging to prepare a high-performance cathode material.

The incidence and mortality of gynecologic cancers have been constantly increasing in China over the last 2 decades, which become a major health concern for women. Survival rates of gynecologic cancers are generally not satisfactory and decrease along with the advancing stage, this is mainly due to the lack of a clear prognostic evaluation during the treatment, which brings difficulties to the treatment. Therefore, more accurate prognostic evaluation methods are urgently needed.

Background: Data on epidemiologic features, treatments and outcomes in women diagnosed with ovarian malignancy during pregnancy are very sparse due to its low incidence. The goal of our study was to summarize the epidemiologic characteristics of pregnant women complicated with ovarian malignancy and investigate the safety and efficacy of chemotherapy during pregnancy.

Methods: We retrospectively analyzed the clinicopathological data of eight patients suffering from ovarian malignancy during pregnancy in our institution from June 2011 to July 2021.

Article Synopsis
  • The study investigates the protein profiles associated with high-grade squamous intraepithelial lesions (HSIL) and cervical cancer, aiming to clarify diagnostic and prognostic molecular changes.
  • Through a data-independent acquisition analysis, researchers identified 243 differentially expressed proteins (DEPs) across three groups: healthy females, HSIL, and cervical cancer patients.
  • Key findings highlight specific protein pathways linked to cervical cancer progression, with ORM1 and APOF showing potential as biomarkers for diagnosis and prognosis, demonstrating strong predictive power for HSIL and cervical cancer.

Docetaxel could inhibit the proliferation of tumor cells by targeting microtubules. The extension of cellular microtubules plays an important role in the invasion and metastasis of tumor cells. This paper aims to study the distribution and mechanical properties of cytoskeletal proteins with low concentration of docetaxel.

Imiquimod (Imiq) is a synthetic imizoquinoline compound which can act on Toll-like receptor (TLR)7 and transduce signals involved in cell activation. We investigated the role of Imiq on contact hypersensitivity (CHS) and explored the potential mechanisms of mast cells involved in the process. Topical application of Imiq cream augmented DNFB mediated CHS in C57BL/6 mice.
