Background: Chronic diseases are a global health challenge, and therefore, more attention should be paid to improving self-efficacy in people with chronic diseases. This study examined the relationship between family health and self-efficacy, and explored the mediating role of perceived social support and the moderating role of health literacy. The aim is to enhance the self-efficacy of chronic patients by improving family health, social support, and health literacy, thereby improving their physical and mental state.

In most biomedical studies, the cells being compared are in different mutant and control animals and, therefore, do not experience the same epigenetic changes and tissue microenvironment. The experimental induction of genetic mosaics is essential to determine a gene cell-autonomous function and to model the etiology of diseases caused by somatic mutations.

In this study, we screened various essential and non-essential amino acids and found that methionine enhances mRNA methylation and reduced the activation of Type I interferon pathway in bladder cancer. Through RNA sequencing, point mutations, MB49 mouse tumor models, and single-cell RNA sequencing, we demonstrated that high methionine levels elevate the expression of mA reader YTHDF1, promoting the degradation of RIG-I, thereby inhibiting the RIG-I/MAVS-mediated IFN-I pathway and reducing the efficacy of tumor immunotherapy.

Objectives: This study aimed to identify clinicopathological features of EP and EPC and describe the factors that may be associated with the malignant transformation of EP by comparing the two groups.
Methods: A total of 37 cases of EP and 22 cases of EPC diagnosed between January 2017 and June 2023 were retrospectively reviewed, and the clinical and histopathological characteristics were compared using statistical methods.
Introduction: With the development of the medical system and the diversification of patient needs, nurse practitioners (NPs) play an increasingly important role in medical practice, assuming more responsibilities and powers, including the right to prescribe. However, in the process of exercising the right to prescribe, NPs may face various obstacles, and there are also some promoting factors. Therefore, this study aims to deeply explore the obstacles and promoting factors in the prescription process of NPs through a qualitative meta-analysis and comprehensive method, so as to provide a basis for improving the prescription practice of NPs, improving nursing quality and patient satisfaction.

Heme oxygenase-1 (HO-1) has demonstrated protective properties against inflammation and promote hematoma clearance after ICH. The objective of this study was to explore impacts of HO-1 on microglia polarization and phagocytosis after ICH, along with the underlying mechanism.

However, it suffers from poor water solubility, low plasma and tissue uptake and susceptibility to oxidation. In this study, β-lactoglobulin (β-LG)-hyaluronic acid (HA) binary covalent complexes were prepared by ultrasound-assisted Maillard reaction and used as the carrier to deliver Cur.

Nonetheless, the specific chemical components responsible for this effect remain largely unidentified.
Objectives: This study aims to investigate the anti-obesity effects and mechanisms of ginseng polysaccharides (GP) and ginsenosides (GS), the primary chemical components of ginseng, with a focus on their impact on gut microbiota.
The type I interferon (IFN-I) response is crucial in systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). The mRNA level of interferon-stimulated genes (ISGs) is widely used for evaluating the activity of IFN in SLE. However, the character of ISGs in belimumab-treated SLE patients has not be reported.

Here, we hypothesized that daily host signaling regulates tumor growth and synchronizes circadian rhythms in GBM. We find daily glucocorticoids promote or suppress GBM growth through glucocorticoid receptor (GR) signaling depending on time of day and the clock genes, Bmal1 and Cry.

Our measurements confirm that these isotopes are bound and fix the location of the proton dripline in P, S, and Ar. We find that the mirror energy differences of the mirror-nuclei pairs ^{26}P-^{26}Na, ^{27}P-^{27}Mg, ^{27}S-^{27}Na, ^{28}S-^{28}Mg, and ^{31}Ar-^{31}Al deviate significantly from the values predicted assuming mirror symmetry.

Notably, prenatal amoxicillin exposure (PAmE) may have long-term neurodevelopmental toxicity for offspring. In this study, we investigated the lasting effects of PAmE on depressive-like behaviors in offspring rats, emphasizing the biological mechanisms mediated by changes in gut microbiota and its metabolite, myristic acid.

However, the research on EOPC is somewhat obscure, and the specific clinical and molecular characteristics of this condition are debated. In this review, we discussed the differences between EOPC and late-onset pancreatic cancer (LOPC) or average-onset pancreatic cancer (AOPC) with a focus on clinical and molecular characteristics, survival outcomes and treatment to promote the diagnosis and treatment of EOPC.

However, it faces several problems, such as early injection allocation before use and viscosity reduction caused by high-speed shear. In this paper, a novel method of polymer flooding was proposed by using a super absorbent microsphere emulsion.

Rice may absorb Cadmium (Cd) from the air through its leaves. The process of Cd foliar absorption, accumulation, and redistribution is yet unknown, nevertheless. In this study, the process of Cd absorption from rice leaves and its accumulation and redistribution during all stages of the rice plant's growth were examined.

Electrocatalytic hydrogen production offers a promising solution to address current energy depletion. Herein, a RuNi/MoN heterostructure on carbon cloth (CC), RuNi/MoN@CC, was successfully constructed using a simple method, allowing for dual regulation of morphology and electronic structure. Under the influence of Ni, the in-situ generated MoN inherits the morphology of the NiMoO precursor, presenting a nanowire morphology, which is favorable for increasing electrochemical active area.

Anthropogenic activities and climate change-induced nitrogen (N) enrichment may affect wetland carbon (C) and N cycling via soil microbes, consequently modifying the original greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. However, the effects and mechanisms of the duration and rate of N inputs on wetland GHG emissions remain uncertain and controversial.

Herein, we synthesized silica-coated NaYF:Yb@NaGdF:Tm@NaYF:Tb upconversion nanoparticles (UCNPs) and CsPbI perovskites quantum dots (PeQDs) nanocomposites by the slow hydrolysis of (3-aminopropyl)triethoxysilane. The energy transfer (ET) of Gd→Tb accelerates the five-photon upconversion process of Yb-Tm and the design of the core@shell@shell layer effectively mitigates the energy jumps between Gd ions.
