Our previous study has shown that hydrogen sulfide (HS) can attenuate cigarette smoke exposure (CSE)-induced placental injury in rats. This study investigated whether HS alleviates CSE-induced endothelial glycocalyx (eGC) impairment and promotes placental angiogenesis in rats.
