Understanding topological defects-controlled structural degradation of layered oxides-a key cathode material for high-performance lithium-ion batteries-plays a critical role in developing next-generation cathode materials. Here, by constructing a nanobattery in an electron microscope enabling atomic-scale monitoring of electrochemcial reactions, we captured the electrochemically driven atomistic dynamics and evolution of dislocations-a most important topological defect in material. We deciphered how dislocations nucleate, move, and annihilate within layered cathodes at the atomic scale.

To analyze hotspots and trends in renal cell carcinoma (RCC)-macrophage research using bibliometric analysis, although numerous studies on macrophages in RCC have been recently reported, understanding the progressive trends in this field remains challenging. Publications focused on macrophages in RCC were extracted from the Web of Science Core Collection. VOSviewer, Citespace, and Bibliometrics online platforms were used to visualize hot topics and global trends in RCC-macrophage research.

In this study, we evaluated HLA-DRA expression in ccRCCs, its effects on tumor-associated macrophage recruitment, and the influence of polarization. Clinical cohort analyses revealed that elevated HLA-DRA expression in ccRCC cells was correlated with enhanced tumor infiltration by M1-type macrophages.

This study investigates whether disulfiram (DSF) can mitigate MTX-induced pulmonary fibrosis and explores the underlying mechanisms.
Methods: Eight-week-old male mice were divided into control, DSF, MTX, and MTX+DSF groups and treated for 8 weeks.
Oxide ceramic electrolytes (OCEs) have great potential for solid-state lithium metal (Li) battery applications because, in theory, their high elastic modulus provides better resistance to Li dendrite growth. However, in practice, OCEs can hardly survive critical current densities higher than 1 mA/cm. Key issues that contribute to the breakdown of OCEs include Li penetration promoted by grain boundaries (GBs), uncontrolled side reactions at electrode-OCE interfaces, and, equally importantly, defects evolution (e.

In view of the fact that certain of the abovementioned data had already apparently been published previously, the Editor of has decided that this paper should be retracted from the Journal.

However, the underlying mechanism of CNV remains unclear. In this study, we investigated the role of neutrophil extracellular traps (NETs) played in CNV and how histone methylation regulates the characterization of NETs.

This study aimed to investigate the relationship between serum vitamin D levels and the susceptibility to hyperlipidemia among adults. Using a multi-stage sampling approach, we recruited a cohort of 2072 eligible individuals aged over 18 years.

After construction of corneal alkali burn rat models, TMP eye drops were given four times daily for consecutive 7 days. H&E staining was utilized for observing the histopathological changes of corneas on the 3rd and 7th days of treatment; immunohistochemistry for detecting the Nestin protein expression changes; qRT-PCR for determining the expression changes of genes correlated with neovascularization [C-X-C Motif Chemokine Ligand 1 (CXCL-1), vascular endothelial growth factor A (VEGFA) and CD31] and inflammation-related factors [monocyte chemoattractant protein-1 (MCP-1), interleukin-1β (IL-1β), tumour necrosis factor α (TNF-α), and IL-6]; Western blot for testing NLR Family Pyrin Domain Containing 1 (NLRP1)/NLRP3 inflammasomes and toll-like receptor 4 (TLR4)/nuclear factor kappa-B (NF-κB) pathway-related protein expression changes.

The present study aimed to elucidate the role and mechanism of repetitive element (RE) activation in BMSC senescence and osteogenesis, as well as the intervention effect of quercetin. In an H2O2‑induced BMSC senescence model, quercetin treatment alleviated senescence as shown by a decrease in senescence‑associated β‑galactosidase (SA‑β‑gal)‑positive cell ratio, increased colony formation ability and decreased mRNA expression of p21 and senescence‑associated secretory phenotype genes.

Notably, voids and cracks formed during battery fabrication/operation are hot spots for failure. Here, a self-healing, flowable yet solid electrolyte composed of mobile ceramic crystals embedded in a reconfigurable polymer network is reported.

Methods: The experiment was conducted to study the effect of multi probiotics and vitamin additives on induced molting in 240 ISA Brown hens.
Background: Sleep played an important part in human health, and COVID-19 led to a continuous deterioration of sleep. However, the causal relationship between micronutrient and sleep disorder was not yet fully understood.
Methods: In this research, the genetic causal relationship between micronutrient and sleep disorder was analyzed utilizing a two-sample Mendelian randomization (MR).
Peripheral nerve injury is a major societal concern. Black phosphorus (BP) has inherent advantages over cell-based therapies in regenerative medicine. However, controlling spontaneous degradation and size-dependent cytotoxicity remains challenging and poses difficulties for clinical translation.

Nonetheless, the evidence regarding the causal relationship between inflammatory cytokines and stroke subtypes is obscure. To leverage large scale genetic association data to investigate the interplay between circulating cytokines and stroke, we adopted a two-sample bi-directional Mendelian randomization (MR) analysis.

The aim of this investigation was to examine the pharmacokinetic and exposure-response (E-R) profile of envafolimab in patients with solid tumors to support the approval of fixed and alternative dose regimens.
Methods: In this study, a population pharmacokinetic (PopPK) modeling approach will be employed to quantitatively evaluate intrinsic and extrinsic covariates.
Unlabelled: CRISPR/Cas9, presently the most widely used genome editing technology, has provided great potential for functional studies and plant breeding. However, the strict requirement for a protospacer adjacent motif (PAM) has hindered the application of the CRISPR/Cas9 system because the number of targetable genomic sites is limited. Recently, the engineered variants Cas9-NG, SpG, and SpRY, which recognize non-canonical PAMs, have been successfully tested in plants (mainly in rice, a monocot).
