Objective: To compare the safety and efficacy of radical prostatectomy with DaVinci robot and Hugo robot.
Methods: The system searches Embase, PubMed, Cochrane library, and Web of Science 4 database. The search time ranges from database creation to June 2024.
Objective: This review assessed the prognostic significance of the systemic immune inflammation index (SII) in patients with urothelial carcinoma.
Methods: We performed a systematic review and cumulative meta-analysis of the primary outcomes according to the PRISMA criteria, and assessed study quality. Seven databases were searched: Embase, PubMed, Cochrane Library, Web of Science, China National Knowledge Infrastructure, Wanfang, and SinoMed, from the creation of each database until October 2024.
Background: Uric acid is the final metabolic product of purines in the human body and has been implicated in the pathogenesis of various diseases. Nevertheless, the relationship between serum uric acid levels and male infertility remains inconclusive. This Mendelian randomization (MR) study aims to elucidate the potential impact of serum uric acid levels on the risk of male infertility.

Recent studies have identified microRNAs (miRNAs) as a key factor in the treatment of neuropathic pain. To explore the effects of miR-133a-3p on neuroinflammation and neuropathic pain via GTP cyclohydrolase (GCH1), and its underlying mechanisms.

To investigate the results of single-segment VCD performed at different vertebra for correcting thoracolumbar kyphosis in ankylosing spondylitis (AS) and to guide the osteotomy strategy.
Methods: Eighty-six AS patients (77 males, 9 females) having thoracolumbar kyphosis underwent single-segment VCD (ranging from T12 to L3) between January 2016 and September 2019 were enrolled and divided into four groups according to the osteotomy vertebra: T12 in 9 cases (Group A), L1 in 15 cases (Group B), L2 in 47 cases (Group C), and L3 in 15 cases (Group D).
The nucleus pulposus (NP) plays a vital role in intervertebral disc degeneration (IVDD). Previous studies have revealed cellular heterogeneity in NP tissue during IVDD progression. However, the cellular and molecular alterations of diverse cell clusters during IVDD remain to be fully elucidated.

Case Presentation: A 50-year-old woman presented with a 2-month history of increasing pain in her right buttock, rectal tenesmus and uncontrolled micturition. Intradural extramedullary cystic lesion was found, and the characteristic MRI findings of a living cysticercus and a dying cysticercus were presented simultaneously.
Background: Natural compounds are invaluable for their therapeutic effects in treating various diseases. Isoliquiritigenin (ISL) stands out due to its potent anti-inflammatory and antioxidative properties, offering significant therapeutic effects in many diseases. However, there is currently no existing literature on the role of ISL in neuropathic pain treatment.

Hexavalent chromium [Cr(VI)] has significant adverse effects on the environment and human health, particularly on the male reproductive system. Previously, we observed ferroptosis and autophagy in rat testicular injury induced by Cr(VI). In the present study, we focused on the association between ferroptosis and autophagy in mouse Sertoli cells (TM4) exposed to concentrations of 2.

Neuropathic pain (NP) continues to be a significant problem that lacks effective treatment. Our study sought to explore a new promising gene target for the treatment of NP. Differential and enrichment analyses were performed on 24,197 genes and 12,088 genes from the NP microglial microarray and sequencing dataset.

A multidisciplinary approach involving orthopedics, geriatrics, endocrinology, and rehabilitation medicine is necessary for an investigation of these issues. investigating the impact of older patients' underlying medical conditions on the refracture of osteoporotic compression fractures following surgery.

Methods: We conduct this meta-analysis strictly according to the PRISMA standard, and the quality evaluation follows the AMSTAR standard. Four databases, Embase, PubMed, Cochrane Library, and Web of Science, were systematically searched.
Hexavalent chromium (Cr(VI)) causes testicular damage and reduces testosterone secretion. Testosterone synthesis relies on cholesterol as a raw material, and its availability can be affected by lipophagy. However, the role of lipophagy in Cr(VI)-induced testicular damage and reduced testosterone secretion remains unclear.

Methods: We performed a systematic reviews and cumulative meta-analyses of primary results of interest according to PRISMA criteria, and quality assessment followed AMSTAR. The system searched five databases, including Zhiwang, Embase, PubMed, Cochrane Library and Web of Science.
Background: Reactive oxygen species (ROS), predominantly generated by mitochondria, play a crucial role in the pathogenesis of intervertebral disc degeneration (IVDD). Reduction of ROS levels may be an effective strategy to delay IVDD. In this study, we assessed whether umbilical cord mesenchymal stem cell-exosomes (UCMSC-exos) can be used to treat IVDD by suppressing ROS production caused by mitochondrial dysfunction.

Methods: This systematic review and meta-analysis was conducted in accordance with the PRISMA statement. A systematic search of the literature published before November 2023 was conducted using Pubmed, Embase, Cochran, and Web of Science libraries. We included studies comparing perioperative and oncologic outcomes of partial nephrectomy and radical nephrectomy for complex renal tumors.
