Purpose: This quantitative study aimed to determine whether the quality of discharge teaching, anxiety, depression, and various demographic and disease-related factors predict discharge readiness among cervical cancer surgical patients in Western Region of China.

Methods: From November 2023 to May 2024, a convenience sampling method was employed to administer a questionnaire to cervical cancer surgery patients at a tertiary Grade A specialized hospital in Xinjiang. The survey included a patient general information questionnaire, the Quality of Discharge Teaching Scale (QDTS), the Generalized Anxiety Disorder 7-item Scale (GAD-7), a questionnaire assessing the readiness for discharge of gynecological malignant tumor surgery patients under the enhanced recovery after surgery (ERAS) model, and the Patient Health Questionnaire-9 (PHQ-9).

Enhancer of zeste homolog 2 (EZH2), an epigenetic regulator that primarily inhibits downstream gene expression by tri-methylating histone H3, which is usually overexpressed in tumors and participates in many processes such as tumor occurrence and development, invasion, migration, drug resistance, and anti-tumor immunity as an oncogene, making it an important biomarker in cancer therapy. Collectively, several transcription factors and RNAs cooperate to facilitate the elevated expression of EZH2 in cancer. Although the significance of blocking EZH2 in cancer for inhibiting cancer progression is widely recognized, the clinical application of EZH2 inhibitors continues to encounter numerous challenges.

The Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) encoded tegument protein BSRF1 plays a significant role in the processes of viral maturation and release, however, it's not clear whether BSRF1 is involved in the modulation of host innate immunity. In this study, we demonstrated that BSRF1 can inhibit interferon β (IFN-β) production by downregulating nuclear factor kappa B (NF-κB) activity and subsequently reducing the yield of inflammatory cytokines, thereby facilitating viral replication. Dual luciferase reporter assays indicated that BSRF1 may inhibit NF-κB signaling at the level of IKK or between IKK and p65, while co-immunoprecipitation experiments revealed its association with multiple critical host adaptor proteins.

Currently, the development of suitable transition metal chalcogenides (TMDs) for aqueous zinc ion batteries (AZIBs) is plagued by the terrible conductivity and electrochemical properties. Herein, a one-step ball milling method is applied to enhance the conductivity of commercial MnTe cathode by constructing three dimensional (3D) carbon nanotubes (CNTs) interweaved MnTe nanoparticles (abbreviated as MnTe@CNTs), which can achieve ultrafast ion conduction. The stable electrochemistry properties benefit from the synergistic effects between layered MnTe and 3D CNTs, which can improve the electrons/ions diffusion kinetics as cycling.
