A capillary column coated with 3-aminophenylboronic acid (APBA)-functionalized gold nanoparticles (AuNPs@APBA) was prepared via electrostatic self-assembly. The coated column exhibited anti-nonspecific adsorption of glycoproteins, enabling selective online enrichment during capillary electrophoresis (CE). First, gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) were synthesized using the sodium citrate reduction method.

The molecular basis for integrin activation has been intensively studied; however, the understanding of integrin inactivation is still limited. Here, we identify LRP12 as an endogenous transmembrane inhibitor for α4 integrin activation.

Expression of legumain (LGMN), an endo-lysosomal cysteine protease, positively correlates with breast cancer metastatic progression and poor prognosis.

Population of WWTPs served was calculated by the model including three hydrochemical parameters ammonia nitrogen, chemical oxygen demand, and total phosphorus. The population model was constructed by using analytic hierarchy process to calculate weight factors of each hydrochemical parameters equivalent population.

The paper is focused on the powerful prediction ability of the quantitative DNA sieving model in DNA separations by capillary electrophoresis, which was proposed by us previously. First, the DNA resolution can be predicted by the theory. The model predicts that the most difficult and easiest separation will be 184bp/192bp and 234bp/267bp respectively, which is consist with experimental results.
