Background: Currently, a variety of new nursing methods and routine nursing have been widely used in the nursing of gastrointestinal surgery patients.

Aim: To investigate the effect of follow-up protocol based on the Omaha System on self-care ability and quality of life of gastrointestinal surgery patients.

Methods: A total of 128 patients with inflammatory bowel disease in gastrointestinal surgery in gastrointestinal surgery from March 2019 to August 2021 were divided into A ( = 64) and B ( = 64) groups according to different nursing methods.

Purpose: Mammary Paget's disease (PD) in young women has seldom been reported. The aim of this study was to improve the knowledge of the clinicopathological characteristics in young patients with PD to provide a basis for the precise treatment of young patients.

Methods: The medical records and pathological slides of 8 young patients (younger than 40 years old) with PD were reviewed.

The degree of wing development has a close relationship with insects' movement ability and range, and it should also be closely related to mitochondrial-related genes. The complete mitochondrial genomes of six species of Catantopidae were sequenced, annotated and analyzed. Then, combined with 37 mitogenomes of grasshoppers, the ratio of nonsynonymous substitution to synonymous substitution (Ka/Ks) of the combined sequences of protein coding genes (PCGs) was calculated by DnaSP5, and the phylogenetic relationships were reconstructed by maximum likelihood (ML) and Bayesian (BI) methods based on PCGs+rRNAs.

Renal interstitial fibrosis (RIF) is difficult to diagnose. This paper explored liquid biopsy markers in urinary exosomes derived from RIF patients. Urine samples from 32 patients with various degrees of RIF and 20 non-RIF patients were collected.

The combined administration of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) aims at comprehensive adjustment of body based on the theory of TCM and the theory of Chinese medicine property. The natures and tastes of TCM are the core of the theory of TCM property. The combined administration of natures and tastes of TCM is one of the important theories of prescription compatibility.

Purpose: To assess a new and highly specific, but low-cost, easily performed and suitable for large-scale applications method for renal fibrosis (RF) diagnostics.

Methods: Thirty-five RF and twenty non-RF patients were enrolled in the study. An appropriate polyethylene glycol (PEG) was used to isolate urinary exosomes.

We have previously reported on electrically pumped random lasing (RL) with onset voltages at least 3.3 V from ZnO-based light-emitting devices with metal-insulator-semiconductor (MIS) structures in the form of Au/SiO2/ZnO. Here, by inserting an ∼5 nm thick MoO3 layer between SiO2 and ZnO films in the aforementioned MIS structured device, the RL onset voltage is decreased to only ∼2.

Two new polypyridine ligands and their corresponding ruthenium(II) complexes have been prepared and characterized. The interactions of both complexes with human telomere quadruplex DNA (both the antiparallel basket and the mixed-hybrid G-quadruplex) have been studied by circular dichroism (CD), CD melting, UV-visible (UV-Vis), fluorescent intercalator displacement (FID) assays and molecular docking studies. The results show that both complexes can stabilize G-quadruplexes DNA and two complexes show different binding affinity for different G-quadruplexes DNA.

The asymmetric unit of the title mononuclear Ni(II) compound, [Ni(NCS)(2)(C(8)H(12)N(2))(2)], contains two independent half-mol-ecules, the Ni atoms of which lie on crystallographic inversion centres. Each Ni(II) ion is chelated by two N atoms from two N-phenyl-ethane-1,2-diamine ligands and is also coordinated by two N atoms from two thio-cyanate ligands, giving a distorted octa-hedral geometry. In the crystal, mol-ecules are linked into a two-dimensional network parallel to (100) by N-H⋯S inter-actions.
