This study aimed to assess the effectiveness of pharmacological intervention with G-Rh4 mitigating intestinal toxicity evoked by cisplatin in a murine model and in IEC-6 cells .

[Application of high-throughput drug sensitivity testing in children with relapsed and refractory acute leukemia].

Objectives: To explore the current application of high-throughput drug sensitivity (HDS) testing in children with relapsed and refractory acute leukemia (RR-AL) and analyze the feasibility of salvage treatment plans.

Methods: A retrospective collection of clinical data from children with RR-AL who underwent HDS testing at the Department of Children's Hematology and Oncology of the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University from November 2021 to October 2023 was conducted, followed by an analysis of drug sensitivity results and treatment outcomes.

Results: A total of 17 children with RR-AL underwent HDS testing, including 7 cases of relapsed refractory acute myeloid leukemia and 10 cases of relapsed refractory acute lymphoblastic leukemia.

Mechanical ventilation life support plays an important role in the treatment of patients with IPF but is associated with an increased risk of acute exacerbation of IPF (AE-IPF).

We identified critically ill adults with mental disorders based on the Medical Information Mart in Intensive Care-IV database.

An unprecedented cycloaddition of vinyl diazo compounds with benzofuran-derived azadienes catalyzed by rarely independently used NaBAr has been established. Benzofuran-fused hydropyridines were constructed with excellent yields and high diastereoselectivity via a Na-catalyzed inverse-electron-demand aza-Diels-Alder reaction. Notably, this transformation also features good compatibility with a one-pot protocol to deliver the spiro[benzofuran-cyclopentene] skeleton, as well as perfect atom economy and simple reaction conditions.

Autism spectrum disorder (ASD) is characterized by social communicative abnormalities. Deficits and delays in gestural communication are among the early deficits of ASD and also a major social modality in early caregiver-toddler interaction. Caregiver gestures have an important role in the cognitive and social development of children with ASD.

[Effect of polydatin on the proliferation and apoptosis of THP-1 cells and the mechanism].

Objectives: To explore the effect of polydatin on the proliferation and apoptosis of acute monocytic leukemia cell line THP-1 and the possible mechanism.

Methods: After THP-1 cells were treated with polydatin at gradient concentrations for 24 hours and 48 hours, their proliferation was determined by CCK-8 assay, and half maximal inhibitory concentration (IC50) was calculated. Logarithmically growing THP-1 cells were divided into two groups, a polydatin treatment group (treated with IC50 of polydatin) and a blank control group (treated without polydatin solution), and incubated for 48 hours.

Methods: A prospective cohort study was conducted among surgical patients between January 2016 and November 2018 in Xuanwu Hospital, Capital Medical University, Beijing, China. Participants received LMWH alone or PNS combined with LMWH for preventing DVT.

Background: Lymphocytic hypophysitis (LYH) is an important condition to consider in the differential diagnosis of patients with a pituitary mass. The main clinical manifestations of LYH include headache, symptoms related to sellar compression, hypopituitarism, diabetes insipidus and hyperprolactinemia. Headache, which is a frequent complaint of patients with LYH, is thought to be related to the occupying effect of the pituitary mass and is rapidly resolved with a good outcome after timely and adequate glucocorticoid treatment or surgery.
