Background: World Health Organization ranks substance abuse as one of the top twenty health risk factors. It poses a serious public health crisis with a significant burden for affected individuals, families and health systems. This study aimed to identify the spectrum and pattern of substance use among patients receiving rehabilitative services.

Improvement of attention deficit disorder symptoms after treatment of obstructive sleep apnea in an adult: a case report and mini review.

Unlabelled: Sparse literature exists on the effects of obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) treatment on symptoms of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) in adults. This article aims to bring to the fore the relationship between ADHD and OSA in adults and the implications of the treatment of OSA on the symptoms of ADHD. A case of an adult who was previously diagnosed with attention deficit disorder in childhood with symptom improvement following OSA treatment is reported.

The identification and grading of the psychosocial impact of in primary school children in a semi-urban area of Rivers State, Nigeria.

Introduction: Tinea capitis is a fungal skin disease, which is not life-threatening but could affect the psychosocial life of those suffering from it. Thus, this study sought to identify and grade the psychosocial impact related to Tinea capitis in primary school children.

Subjects And Methods: This was a cross-sectional study involving primary school children in Emohua Local Government Area of Rivers State.
