Multimodal microrobots are of growing interest due to their capabilities to navigate diverse terrains, with promising applications in inspection, exploration, and biomedicine. Despite remarkable progress, it remains challenging to combine the attributes of excellent maneuverability, low power consumption, and high robustness in a single multimodal microrobot. We propose an architected design of a passively morphing wheel that can be stabilized at distinct geometric configurations, relying on asymmetric bending stiffness of bioinspired tentacle structures.

20()-Protopanaxadiol (PPD), a bioactive compound extracted from ginseng, possesses cardioprotective, neuroprotective, anti-inflammatory, antiestrogenic, anticancer and anxiolytic effects. However, the clinical application of PPD is limited by its weak aqueous solubility. In this study, we optimized an efficient method of preparing its phospholipid complex (PPD-PLC) using a central composite design and response surface analysis.

Objective: To study the preparation of 20(S)-protopanaxadiol-phospholipid (20(S)-PPD) complex HAP assemblies.

Methods: 20(S)-PPD phospholipid complex was assembled with the drug carriers of HAP. Effects of technological factors on the assembled amount were investigated, including HAP species, phospholipid complex concentration, ratio of HAP and assembled liquid, and then the preparation technology of 20(S)-PPD phospholipid complex HAP assemblies was determined.
