Introduction: Pharmacogenomic testing in psychiatry is an emerging area with potential clinical application of guiding medication choice and dosing. Interest has been fanned by commercial pharmacogenomic providers who have commonly marketed combinatorial panels that are direct-to-consumer. However, this has not been adopted widely due to a combination of barriers that include a varying evidence base, clinician and patient familiarity and acceptance, uncertainty about cost-effectiveness, and regulatory requirements.

This study evaluated patient-reported outcomes (PROs) of Medicine Access Programmes (MAPs) for Australian metastatic breast cancer patients on ribociclib. Limited patient awareness of MAP enrolment was identified, emphasising the need for improved education and consent processes. Is Kinesiophobia Associated With Quality of Life, Level of Physical Activity, and Function in Older Adults With Knee Osteoarthritis?

Background: Beyond knee pain itself, the fear of movement, also known as kinesiophobia, recently has been proposed as a potential factor contributing to disability and functional limitation in patients with knee osteoarthritis (OA). Nevertheless, the available evidence on the association of kinesiophobia with patient-reported outcome measures (PROMs) in knee OA remains limited.

Questions/purposes: Among patients with nonoperatively treated knee OA, we asked: (1) Is kinesiophobia associated with decreased quality of life (QoL), functional outcomes, and physical activity? (2) What are the patient disease and psychosocial demographic factors associated with kinesiophobia?

Methods: Text ads from Google searches in eight countries (Bahamas, Germany, India, Malaysia, Mexico, South Africa, United Arab Emirates, and United States) were collected in 2022, totaling 1,974 prepolicy and 3,262 post-policy ads, and analyzed in 2023.

Introduction: Host-microbe interactions are important to human health and ecosystems globally, so elucidating the complex host-microbe interactions and associated protein expressions drives the need to develop sensitive and accurate biochemical techniques.
