A patient with ventricular tachycardia (VT) and right ventricular (RV) metastatic diffuse large B-cell lymphoma had persistent RV gadolinium enhancement following chemotherapy and disease remission. Electrophysiology study demonstrated inducible sustained monomorphic VT requiring subcutaneous implantable cardioverter-defibrillator implantation. This highlights the arrhythmogenic potential of residual scar after resolution of cardiac masses.

There can be high variability in its clinical manifestations, and diagnosing CA requires expertise and often thorough evaluation; as such, the diagnosis of CA can be challenging and is often delayed. The application of artificial intelligence (AI) to different diagnostic modalities is rapidly expanding and transforming cardiovascular medicine.

Quality initiatives aimed at improving the care of this vulnerable, yet understudied population are needed.
Methods: This study included consecutive patients with iSTEMI treated with percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) between 1 January 2011 and 15 July 2019 at a single, tertiary referral centre.
Study Objective: Data is scarce regarding which dialysis modality portends more severe cardiac valvular calcification (CVC). Our aim was to compare the degree of CVC in hemodialysis (HD) and peritoneal dialysis (PD) patient cohorts prior to open heart surgery (OHS) using a CT calcium score.
Design Setting And Participants: Dialysis patients who underwent OHS at our institution from 2009 to 2019 and who had pre-surgical cardiac CT were included in our study.
Background: Heart transplantation (HT) recipients infected with COVID-19 may be at an increased risk of severe illness due to chronic immunosuppression.
Materials And Methods: Adult HT patients hospitalized with COVID-19 at the Cleveland Clinic between March 2020 and March 2021 were included in this retrospective cohort analysis. Twenty-four HT cases were matched to 96 non-HT controls, similarly hospitalized with COVID-19, out of 11,481 patients based on different baseline characteristics.
