Optimizing healthcare employee performance: a serial mediation model.

Purpose: The study investigates the serial mediation of psychological ownership and workplace innovation in the nexus between organizational leadership and employee performance among healthcare workers in Ghana.

Design/methodology/approach: Six hundred and thirty-seven samples were selected using convenience sampling technique. The data gathered using self-reported questionnaire were analyzed using SEM-PLS.

The influence of distributive justice on job attitudes and life satisfaction of hotel workers.

This study uses the social exchange and spillover theories to examine the interrelationships between distributive justice, work attitudes, and life satisfaction of hotel employees in Accra, Ghana. Paper-and-pencil questionnaires were used to collect data from 321 respondents after which descriptive statistics and partial least square structural equation modelling were used to analyse the data. Distributive justice and work attitudes were positively related to the life satisfaction levels of hotel employees.

Increasing Quality and Frequency of Goals-of-Care Documentation in the Highest-Risk Surgical Candidates: One-Year Results of the Surgical Pause Program.

The objective of this study was to determine if a multidisciplinary review aimed at ensuring goal-concordant treatment and perioperative risk assessment in high-risk orthopaedic trauma patients would increase the quality and frequency of goals-of-care documentation without increasing the rate of adverse events.

Methods: We prospectively analyzed a longitudinal cohort of adult patients treated for traumatic orthopaedic injuries that were neither life- nor limb-threatening between January 1, 2020, and July 1, 2021.

Student adjustment during Covid-19 pandemic: Exploring the moderating role of university support.

The study investigates the moderating effect of university support on the association between fear of Cov19 and student adjustment including (a) academic; (b) psychological; and (c) social adjustment. A total of 592 students took part in the research by completing self-reported questionnaire. The respondents were chosen using a multi-stage sampling technique.
