Chimeric Antigen Receptor (CAR) therapy has led to great successes in patients with leukemia and lymphoma. Umbilical Cord Blood (UCB), stored in UCB banks, is an attractive source of T cells for CAR-T production. Therapeutic cytapheresis have been proposed to achieve more rapid cytoreduction in peripheral blood than old universal support in order to quickly prevent potential complications. But, there are no randomized studies demonstrating the superiority of cytapheresis over other treatments alone.
