Article Synopsis
- The study explored the effectiveness of interactive metronome (IM) therapy in improving cognitive issues in soldiers with ongoing complaints after experiencing mild-to-moderate traumatic brain injuries (TBI) related to blasts.
- Forty-six soldiers were divided into two groups: one received standard rehabilitation care alone, and the other received standard care plus IM therapy over 15 sessions.
- Results showed that the IM therapy group significantly outperformed the standard care group in attention, immediate memory, and delayed memory, suggesting IM therapy could enhance cognitive recovery in this population.
