Pulmonary edema after naloxone administration for opioid reversal: a systematic review of case reports and causality assessment using the Naranjo scale.

Introduction: Pulmonary edema is a rare complication occurring after naloxone administration, but the causal relationship remains insufficiently investigated. We aimed to determine the likelihood of naloxone as the causative agent in published cases of pulmonary edema.

Methods: A literature search was conducted across multiple databases, utilizing database-specific search terms such as "pulmonary edema/chemically induced" and "naloxone/adverse effects.

Mentorship Landscape and Common Practices in an Academic Pharmacy Association.

Objectives: To explore the landscape of mentorship within professional associations in pharmacy academia, including reviewing available literature and describing currently available programs within the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy, and recommend key considerations for the development of mentorship programs within professional associations.

Findings: A literature review of mentorship programs within professional associations for pharmacy academics was conducted, with a total of 5 articles identified and summarized. Additionally, a survey was conducted to determine the landscape of available mentorship programs within American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy affinity groups to capture unpublished experiences.

Benzodiazepine-induced photosensitivity reactions: A compilation of cases from literature review with Naranjo causality assessment.

Objective: Benzodiazepines have been reported to cause photosensitivity reactions. We characterized the clinical presentation and diagnosis of benzodiazepine-associated photosensitivity and adjudicated these cases for a causal association with benzodiazepines.

Methods: A literature search on PubMed's "MeSH" search feature and CINAHL (1964 to 2019) was performed using search terms: benzodiazepine, photosensitivity, and photosensitivity disorders/chemically induced.

Sleep-related eating disorder associated with zolpidem: cases compiled from a literature review.

Objective: Zolpidem is associated with sleep-related eating disorder (SRED). We compiled case reports and performed a descriptive study to identify etiology and aggravating factors.

Methods: A literature search on PubMed's MeSH search feature, CINAHL, and SciFinder was performed using search terms "Zolpidem," "Feeding and Eating Disorders/chemically induced," "Dyssomnias," "sleep eating disorder," and "sleep-related eating disorder.

The Mars 2020 Perseverance rover landing site is located within Jezero crater, a ∼ 50 km diameter impact crater interpreted to be a Noachian-aged lake basin inside the western edge of the Isidis impact structure. Jezero hosts remnants of a fluvial delta, inlet and outlet valleys, and infill deposits containing diverse carbonate, mafic, and hydrated minerals. Prior to the launch of the Mars 2020 mission, members of the Science Team collaborated to produce a photogeologic map of the Perseverance landing site in Jezero crater.

Rethinking the core list of journals for libraries that serve schools and colleges of pharmacy.

The Core List of Journals for Libraries that Serve Schools and Colleges of Pharmacy is a guide for developing and maintaining pharmacy-affiliated library collections. A work group was created to update the list and design a process for updating that will streamline future revisions. Work group members searched the National Library of Medicine catalog for an initial list of journals and then applied inclusion criteria to narrow the list.
