The adoptive transfer of regulatory T cells is a promising strategy to prevent graft-versus-host disease after allogeneic bone marrow transplantation. Here, we use a major histocompatibility complex-mismatched mouse model to follow the fate of in vitro expanded donor regulatory T cells upon migration to target organs. Employing comprehensive gene expression and repertoire profiling, we show that they retain their suppressive function and plasticity after transfer.

Epidemiological and animal studies indicate a role in immune regulation, intestinal barrier function and microbiome diversity. Here, we analyzed the impact of different vitamin D3- containing diets on C57BL/6 and BALB/c mice, with a particular focus on gut homeostasis and also investigated effects on immune cells .

Moreover, association between the response in HRQoL and the IGF-1 values in patients and in the background population was investigated.
Design: HRQoL was assessed by quality of life assessment of GH deficiency in adults (QoL-AGHDA) in 651 patients retrieved from the German KIMS (Pfizer International Metabolic Database) before and after 12 months of GH replacement and in a sample drawn from a cross-sectional study in Germany (n=2734).
