: Surgical treatment of extensive tumors of the lower lip generates important defects in its structure and functions. Over time, a multitude of reconstruction options for these defects have been imagined. Unfortunately, the majority involve the use of both local and regional flaps, which either lack labial structure or disorganize the oral commissures as nodal oral function points.

Social Media Campaigns: A Game Changer for the Prevention of Breast Cancer in Romania.

Social media can be used to raise awareness about health issues, especially concerning the importance of periodical screening. The present study aims to identify the role of social media awareness campaigns in the early detection of breast cancer, with a focus on Romania, a country with a high female mortality due to this disease. The research is performed using a survey, based on an online questionnaire, which was self-administered by the respondents included in two samples selected from a Facebook community of Romanian women.

Trimetazidine Therapy in Coronary Artery Disease: The Impact on Oxidative Stress, Inflammation, Endothelial Dysfunction, and Long-Term Prognosis.

Background: In coronary artery disease (CAD), reduction of perfusion in coronary arteries is followed by increases of oxidative stress and decreases of adenosine triphosphate reserve. In this condition, trimetazidine (TMZ), a metabolic anti-ischemic agent, seems to be an ideal therapeutic agent because it increases mitochondrial adenosine triphosphate production.

Study Question: To evaluate the impact of TMZ on oxidative stress, inflammation, endothelial dysfunction, and long-term prognosis in CAD.
