The investigation of established pharmaceutical agents for recalibrating usage strongly supplements new drug development. In this work, we have prepared coassembled complexes of acetazolamide (AZM) with the cationic peptide octaarginine (R8) in an attempt to enhance its potency and scope of use. R8 and AZM in different weight ratios coassemble into remarkable nano- and microstructures such as ribbons, sheets, and stick-like structures.

In this work, we describe the coassembly of R8 with small molecule thiazolyl benzenesulfonamide (TBS) derivatives. Physical complexation of R8 with three TBS derivatives across a range of weight ratios results in the formation of a distinctive set of nano- and microstructures.

Due to the diverse biodynamic properties of well-known heterocyclic cores, such as quinoline, indole, and its derivatives, they have a special place in the chemistry of nitrogen-containing heterocyclic molecules.
Objectives: The objective of this study is to analyze the interaction of several heterocyclic molecules using molecular docking and machine learning approaches to find out the possible antibacterial drugs.
Peeyush Varshney Histopathology of gallbladder removed for stones may reveal incidental gallbladder cancer (iGBC). We conducted this online e-survey to document the knowledge and practices of management of iGBC among surgeons in India. A 38-question online e-survey Two-hundred thirty responses were recorded.

Due to different baseline situations, the frequently performed comparison between endovascular and open surgical treatment is interfered with selection bias. The purpose of this study was to review outcomes in AMI treatment with an open or endovascular approach in association with laparotomy and to evaluate the endovascular-first strategy in similar clinical situations.

A retrospective analysis of nine patients (February 2017-June 2020), 2 males and 7 females, was done for clinical presentation, biochemistry, localization methods, intraoperative findings, postoperative outcome, histopathology reports, and follow-up.

When we examined their expressions in the Jurkat T cells, it showed increased sCD5 and decreased cCD5, which is in sharp contrast with the pattern of CD5 expression observed for human leukemic T cells. Furthermore, this opposite pattern was due to the absence of an exonal switch between E1A and E1B.

Backgrounds/aims: Pancreaticoduodenectomy is the most common procedure for the management of duodenal pathologies. However, it is associated with substantial morbidity and a low risk of mortality. Pancreas-preserving limited duodenal resection (PPLDR) can be performed under specific scenarios.

The substrate-specific hydrolase activity of sEH converts epoxyeicosatrienoic acids (EETs) to less bioactive dihydroxyeicosatrienoic acids. EETs exhibit anti-inflammatory, analgesic, antihypertensive, cardio-protective and organ-protective properties.

Oral melanomas has propensity to metastasise and invade more voluntarily than other malignant counterparts. Here we present a case of 52-year-old male patient with a chief symptom of blackening of gums in the upper front tooth region.

TEM investigations revealed that Ag-550 NCs were pentagonal nanoplates while the other four samples were nanopyramids with a pentagonal base with the edge length varying between 15 and 30 nm. The non-linear optical (NLO) properties of these NCs were studied by the Z-scan technique using the CW He-Ne laser (632.

Patient having mucoid degeneration of ACL seeks multiple orthopedic consultation and most of the time treating orthopedican miss its diagnosis either because of lack of experience or rare cause of pain unless doctor sought magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) of knee.
Case Report: We report a case of mucoid degeneration of the ACL in a 50-year-old female with knee pain of 18 months duration.
Single crystals of lithium niobate (LiNbO3), possessing high birefringence and anisotropic properties have been explored, for a long time, to harness their excellent electro-optic properties. However, their nanoforms are comparatively less explored. In this context, dielectric constant and polarization (P) versus electric-field (E) characteristics of LiNbO3 nanomaterials have been studied.

Mini-lap cholecystectomy (MLC) has no start-up costs but no large series from a single centre has been reported as the procedure is considered hazardous because of inadequate exposure of the surgical field.
Methods: We retrospectively reviewed the outcome of 737 cholecystectomies performed through a 3-5-cm transverse subcostal incision and compared the results to published series of laparoscopic cholecystectomy.
Pressure on the common hepatic duct due to a gallstone impacted in Hartmann's pouch or cystic duct results in jaundice and cholangitis. Repeated episodes of inflammation and pressure necrosis lead to the formation of a cholecysto-choledochal fistula (Mirizzi's syndrome Type I & II). Preoperative diagnosis is difficult and a formal cholecystectomy may lead to bile duct injury.
