Introduction: (Mtb), one of the deadliest human pathogen, has evolved with different strategies of survival inside the host, leading to a chronic state of infection. Phagosomally residing Mtb encounters a variety of stresses, including increasing acidic pH. To better understand the host-pathogen interaction, it is imperative to identify the role of various genes involved in the survivability of Mtb during acidic pH environment.

Materials And Methods: A comprehensive data dashboard was designed, which al- lowed holistic assessment of institutional treatment approaches. The software was tested in the ongoing EMBRACE-II study for locally advanced cervical cancer.
We studied pathogenic gene mutations and tumor mutation burden (TMB) in visible low-grade dysplastic lesions in patients with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). The dysplastic lesions with histologically normal mucosa in the background (group 1) were compared with dysplastic lesions occurring either in a background of chronic active colitis (group 2) or associated with synchronous carcinomas regardless of the status of the background mucosa (group 3). The TMB in group 3 was consistently higher in comparison to the group 1 and group 2 lesions, although the difference was not statistically significant.

The drastically reduced survival rates require prompt identification of selective molecules for development of targeted therapeutics. We evaluated the squaric acid containing FAPI derivative, DOTA.

In this case report, we discuss a case of postpartum collapse in COVID-19-positive woman who required intensive care and mechanical ventilation for two days. After confusing collision of many provisional diagnoses soldiering for three days, she was ultimately diagnosed with malignant catatonia.

The emergence of multi drug resistant (MDR) strains has rendered available antibiotics ineffective, necessitating the urgent discovery of new drugs and drug targets.

CUB domain-containing protein 1 (CDCP1) is a cell surface protein and promising drug target for many cancers. This study aimed to determine whether CDCP1 is expressed in bladder cancer and whether CDCP1 can be targeted for treatment with radiolabeled antibodies.

Complex 1 was designed to have one of its metal coordination sites masked with a hemilabile butenyl group. The antibacterial activity spectrum against the ESKAPE panel of pathogens shows superior activity of 1 compared to 2 and 3 against the Gram-positive pathogen.

An estimation of the gender composition of RCT leadership in India has not been undertaken. We performed this study to quantify the gender composition of first authors of RCTs published from India for the years 2011 to 2020.

Employing a computational XBP1s detection method applied to TCGA datasets, we demonstrate that expression of the XBP1s mRNA isoform predicts poor survival in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) patients. Ablation of IRE1α in malignant cells delays tumor progression and extends survival in mouse models of NSCLC.

The diagnosis depends upon endocrine workup followed by imaging with CT, MRI, and 18F-FDG PET/CT. The treatment includes surgical resection, debulking surgery, chemotherapy, and radiotherapy.

This long-term hepatic dysregulation decreases quality of life and may lead to death. Our goal in this study is to determine acute changes in biological pathways and discover potential RNA biomarkers predictive of radiation injury.

Dysbiosis of the intestinal microbiome causes a significant alteration in the gut microbiota of Alzheimer's disease (AD) patients, followed by neuroinflammatory processes. Thus, AD beginning in the gut is closely related to an imbalance in gut microbiota, and hence a multidomain approach to reduce this imbalance by exerting positive effects on the gut microbiota is needed.

Eisenmenger syndrome represents the severe end of the spectrum for disease in pulmonary artery hypertension associated with CHD. Due to very high maternal and perinatal morbidity and mortality, pregnancy is contraindicated among these women.

Methods And Materials: Patients treated with (chemo)radiotherapy and BT with single implant and multiple fractions BT were included.
The available therapeutic treatment for leishmaniasis is inadequate and toxic due to side effects, expensive and emergence of drug resistance. Affordable and safe antileishmanial agents are urgently needed and toward this objective, we synthesized a series of 32 novel halogen rich salicylanilides including niclosamide and oxyclozanide and investigated their antileishmanial activity against amastigotes of Leishmania donovani. In vitro data showed fifteen compounds inhibited intracellular amastigotes with an IC of below 5 μM and selectivity index above 10.

Even though several vaccines and drugs have been developed worldwide since COVID-19, a cost-effective drug with the least side effects is still unavailable. Currently, plant-derived compounds are mostly preferred to develop antiviral therapeutics due to its less toxicity, easy access, and cost-effective characteristics.

The aim of this scoping review is to summarize and discuss the evidence related to home-based health care interventions for older adults, with chronic, musculoskeletal pain.
Methods: A review of the literature using 8 electronic databases (Embase, MEDLINE, CINAHL, PubMed, Cochrane Library, Physiotherapy Evidence Database [PEDro], Scopus, and Web of Science) was performed, following the PRISMA-ScR guidelines.
Background: Levonadifloxacin (intravenous) and alalevonadifloxacin (oral prodrug) are novel antibiotics based on benzoquinolizine subclass of fluoroquinolone, licensed for clinical use in India in 2019. The active moiety, levonadifloxacin, is a broad-spectrum antibiotic with a high potency against methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus. aureus, multi-drug resistant pneumococci and anaerobes.
