Objective: To evaluate whether the implementation of legislation is associated with increased bystander cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and automated external defibrillator (AED) use and improved clinical outcomes for patients experiencing OHCA and to provide policy implications for low-income and middle-income settings.
Design, Setting, And Participants: This observational cohort study analyzed a prospective city registry of patients with bystander-witnessed OHCA between January 1, 2010, and December 31, 2022.
Osteosarcoma is a common primary malignant tumor of bone, and doxorubicin is one of the most widely used therapeutic drugs. While the problem of doxorubicin resistance limits the long-term treatment benefits in osteosarcoma patients. The role of miRNAs and their target genes in osteosarcoma have become increasingly prominent.

Aim: To explore factors influencing prehospital return of spontaneous circulation (P-ROSC) in patients with OHCA and develop a nomogram prediction model.
Methods: Clinical data of patients with OHCA in Shenzhen, China, from January 2012 to December 2019 were retrospectively analyzed.
Background: Associations between short-term exposure to ambient particulate matter (PM) air pollutants and mortality or hospital admissions have been well-documented in previous studies. Less is known about the associations of hourly exposure to PM air pollutants with ambulance emergency calls (AECs) for all causes and specific causes by conducting a case-crossover study. In addition, different patterns of AECs may be attributed to different seasons and daytime or nighttime periods.

Methods: From October 2017 to September 2019, 563 patients who underwent gastrointestinal surgery were collected. Based on the inclusion and exclusion criteria, 119 patients were divided into two groups: enoxaparin group (n = 65) and salvianolate group (n = 54).
This study aimed to investigate the relationship between promoter methylation () level and radiosensitivity of cervical cancer and its biological basis. This was a prospective multicenter clinical study, comprising two independent cohorts of locally advanced cervical cancer patients. Exfoliated cervical cells were collected at 0, 24, 30, 36, 48, and 64 Gy to test levels.

The "component-target-pathway" diagram of the Danshen-Guizhi drug pair was established by network pharmacology, and the effective active components, important targets as well as potential mechanisms of the Danshen-Guizhi drug pair were analyzed. The predicted results were verified by molecular docking and experiments.

A key constraint in reducing transfer delay is the shortage of emergency healthcare workers. This study was to explore the influence of the quality and quantity of healthcare professionals at emergency medical stations on transfer delay and in-hospital mortality among STEMI patients.

However, tRNA-derived small RNAs (tsRNAs), as a new type of non-coding RNAs that are more suitable as markers, remain to be clarified in IBS-D.

However, many clinical studies have showed that salvianolate can effectively inhibit the deep-vein thrombosis (DVT) incidence, and prevent VTE of perioperative patients in the real world in China.
Objective: This analysis aimed to evaluate the effectiveness and safety of salvianolate in preventing VTE in perioperative patients.
Gliomas are the most fatal malignant cerebral tumors. Temozolomide (TMZ), as the primary chemotherapy drug, has been widely used in clinics. However, resistance of TMZ still remains to poor defined.

In recent years, the importance of intestinal microstructure and function in IBS-D has been emphasized. However, the intestinal tissue proteomics of IBS-D patients has not been analyzed.

Development of a system supporting efficient replication of clinically resistant HBV strains is imperative, and new antiviral drugs are needed urgently to prevent selection of drug-resistant HBV mutants. A novel fluorinated cytidine analog, NCC (N-cyclopropyl-4'-azido-2'-deoxy-2'-fluoro-β-d-cytidine), was recently shown to strongly inhibit human HBV in vitro and in vivo.

We previously reported that tumors initiate in the FT fimbria epithelium because of apoptotic failure and the expansion of cells with DNA double-strand breaks (DSB) caused by bathing of the FT epithelial cells in reactive oxygen species (ROSs) and hemoglobin-rich follicular fluid (FF) after ovulation. Because ovulation is frequent and HGSOC is rare, we hypothesized that luteal-phase progesterone (P4) could eliminate p53-defective FT cells.

The role of miR-320d has been studied in several cancers except for glioma. The aim of the study was to investigate the expression levels, biological function, and mechanism of miR-320d in glioma.

Here, we found that ZEB1-AS1 was highly expressed in glioma tissues, being closely related to clinical stage of glioma.

So far, there is no study investigating the clinical significance of lncRNA CASC8 rs10505477 in lung cancer susceptibility and treatment. In this study, we genotyped 498 lung cancer patients and 213 healthy control subjects to explore the correlation between the rs10505477 polymorphism and lung cancer risk in a Chinese population.

Glycyrrhetinic acid (GA) has been used clinically in the treatment of patients with chronic hepatitis. This study evaluated the effect of GA on the activity of five P450(CYP450) cytochrome enzymes: CYP2A6, CYP2C9, CYP2C19, CYP2D6, and CYP3A4, in human liver microsomes (HLMs) and recombinant cDNA-expressed enzyme systems using a HPLC-MS/MS CYP-specific probe substrate assay. With midazolam as the probe substrate, GA greatly decreased CYP3A4 activity with IC50 values of 8.
