Iron limitation plays a fundamental role in host immunity against infection. The mechanisms by which antagonizes nutritional immunity, particularly those regulated by small non-coding RNAs (sRNAs), remain incompletely understood. In this study, we investigated the role of a previously identified sRNA, adhesive-associated sRNA (SaaS), in host iron metabolism.
View Article and Find Full Text PDFTwo-dimension (2D) MXene materials have increasingly attracted attentions in improving the photocatalytic conversion of solar-to-chemical energy over graphitic carbon nitride (g-CN). In this work, Pt nanoparticles modified few-layer TiC MXene sheet (MXene@Pt) was successfully prepared by chemical reduction, which was used as efficient co-catalysts to enhance the photocatalytic hydrogen evolution over porous g-CN (PCN). The high work function of MXene@Pt and the tight 2D/2D interfacial contact between MXene@Pt and PCN significantly promoted the transfer and separation of photogenerated electron-hole.
View Article and Find Full Text PDFOwing to their numerous merits, such as compact, autonomous and independence, the strapdown inertial navigation system (SINS) and celestial navigation system (CNS) can be used in marine applications. What is more, due to the complementary navigation information obtained from two different kinds of sensors, the accuracy of the SINS/CNS integrated navigation system can be enhanced availably. Thus, the SINS/CNS system is widely used in the marine navigation field.
