Article Synopsis
  • Short-term rainfall prediction is vital for safety and property protection, especially during heavy rainfall events; however, current models struggle with accuracy due to memory and positional issues.
  • The study introduces trajPredRNN+, a new model that combines trajectory segmentation and PredRNN, which employs attention mechanisms to better focus on imminent heavy rainfall predictions and includes a residual network for training stability.
  • Validation through experiments with radar echo data from the Shenzhen Meteorological Bureau shows that trajPredRNN+ significantly outperforms existing models in key performance metrics.

ZnMnO and Zn Al MnO were synthesized by a spray drying process followed by an annealing treatment. Their structural and electrochemical characteristics were investigated by SEM, XRD, XPS, charge-discharge tests and EIS. XPS data indicate that the substitution of Al for Zn causes manganese to be in a mixed valence state by a charge compensation mechanism.
