- Researchers evaluated 3,749 Chinese participants aged 65 and older, measuring obesity indices and bone mineral density (BMD) using linear regression.
- Initially, obesity indices showed a strong positive link to BMD without adjustments, but after adjusting for weight, the associations became mostly negative, whereas adjusting for FFM still indicated a positive relationship, though weaker than before.
