Plant responses to abiotic stress regulated by histone acetylation.

In eukaryotes, histone acetylation and deacetylation play an important role in the regulation of gene expression. Histone acetylation levels are reversibly regulated by histone acetyltransferases (HATs) and histone deacetylases (HDACs). Increasing evidence highlights histone acetylation plays essential roles in the regulation of gene expression in plant response to environmental stress.

[Effects of general anesthesia for cesarean section on infants].

Objective: To determine the safety of general anesthesia during cesarean section for neonates.

Methods: Singleton pregnant women for whom elective cesarean sections were planned after 37 gestation weeks were allocated to general anesthesia or epidural anesthesia. After preoxygenation, general anesthesia was induced with fentanyl (2.
