Although their pharmaceutical applications are under extensive study, SKPs are crucial for enhancing skin permeability, enabling larger molecules to penetrate the stratum corneum. This review explores the transformative role of SKPs in non-invasive transdermal drug delivery.

Local village chicken, or "Ayam kampung" as it's known in Malaysia, is considered a premium chicken breed with a higher price than other chicken breeds. We aimed to develop deep learning models based on perinodular regions' shear-wave elastography (SWE) images and ultrasound (US) images of thyroid nodules (TNs) and determine their performances in predicting thyroid cancer. A total of 1747 American College of Radiology Thyroid Imaging Reporting & Data System 4 (TR4) thyroid nodules (TNs) in 1582 patients were included in this retrospective study. US images, SWE images, and 2 quantitative SWE parameters (maximum elasticity of TNs; 5-point average maximum elasticity of TNs) were obtained.

Riboflavin, or more commonly known as vitamin B2, forms part of the component of vitamin B complex. Riboflavin consisting of two important cofactors, flavin mononucleotide (FMN) and flavin adenine dinucleotide (FAD), which are involved in multiple oxidative-reduction processes and energy metabolism. Besides maintaining human health, different sources reported that riboflavin can inhibit or inactivate the growth of different pathogens including bacteria, viruses, fungi and parasites, highlighting the possible role of riboflavin as an antimicrobial agent.

The aim of this study was to examine the possible association of Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) infection with clinicopathological features and cellular biomarkers including p53, p16INK4a, Ki-67 and nuclear factor-kappa B (NF-κB) in RCC tumors.

Methods: In this prospective study, 122 histologically confirmed Formalin-fixed Paraffin-embedded RCC tissue specimens along with 96 specimens of their corresponding peritumoral tissues and 23 samples of blunt renal injuries were subjected to nested polymerase chain reaction (nPCR) in order to amplify EBV DNA sequences.

Aim: To investigate the accuracy, reliability and agreement between infrared forehead thermometers versus infrared tympanic thermometers temperature, a cross-sectional study was conducted in April 2020.

Methods: The forehead and tympanic temperatures of 615 subjects were measured simultaneously in three exposed SARS-COV-2 groups at one hospital in Iran, during April 2020. These comparisons were evaluated by Bland-Altman Plot, repeatability, Passing-Bablok regression and Lin's concordance correlation coefficient.
