2D MoC i-MXene is highly promising for electrochemical applications. Here, a synthetic strategy is reported, enabling the uniform distribution of carbon-coated CoNi (CoNi@C) nanoparticles on the vacancy-ordered MoC i-MXene nanosheets, thereby fully exposing the active sites of CoNi@C. First, five novel Ga-containing (MoR)GaC (R = Dy, Ho, Er, Tm, and Lu) i-MAX phases are synthesized as the precursor and found to be crystallized into Cmcm structure, followed by hydrothermal etching and delamination.

The stimulus-responsive polymeric materials have attracted great research interest, especially those remotely manipulated materials with potential applications in actuators and soft robotics. Here we report a photoresponsive main-chain actuator based on azobenzene poly(ether ester) multiblock copolymer (mBCP) thermoplastic elastomers, (PTAD--PTMO--PTAD), which were synthesized by a cascade polycondensation-coupling ring-opening polymerization method using poly(tetramethylene oxide) (PTMO) and azobenzene-containing cyclic oligoesters (COTADs) as monomers. A dual-emission ratiometric fluorescence sensor (CDs@CdTe@MIP) with a self-calibration function was successfully constructed for AMO detection. In the CDs@CdTe@MIP system, non-imprinted polymer-coated CDs and molecule-imprinted polymer-coated CdTe quantum dots were used as the reference signal and response elements, respectively. The added AMO quenched the fluorescence of the CdTe quantum dots, whereas the fluorescence intensity of the CDs remained almost unchanged.

Minimizing the emission of arsenic (As) is one of the urgent problems during co-gasification of Shenmu coal (SM) and sewage sludge (SS). The intrinsic mechanism of As retention was obtained by analyzing the effect of different SM addition ratios on the As form transformation during co-gasification at 1000 °C under CO atmosphere. The results showed that the addition of SM effectively promoted the enrichment of As in the co-gasified residues.
