The objective of the present study was to estimate the efficacy of laripront intended for the treatment of inflammatory diseases of the laryngopharynx in the children. Available for the observation were 50 patients aged between 4 and 14 years suffering from the following ENT pathologies: adenoiditis, lacunar tonsillitis, acute laryngitis, chronic tonsillitis, oropharyngeal candidiasis, chronic hypertrophic pharyngitis, atrophic pharyngolaryngitis after the chemical burn of the mouse cavity and laryngopharynx or in the case of gastroesophageal reflux disease. All the patients enjoyed the positive outcome of the treatment that was especially efficacions in the patients with acute pathologies.

The objective of the present study was to estimate the therapeutic efficacy of rinopront used to treat inflammatory diseases of the nasopharynx in the children. The study included 32 patients at the age between 12 and 14 years presenting with various forms of acute and chronic rhinitis. The children with infectious inflammatory rhinitis with concomitant catarrhal maxillary sinusitis and pronounced symptoms of rhino-conjunctival syndrome recovered within 4-5 days after the initiation of rhinopront therapy.

The modern data concerning the structure of the Pseudomonas aeruginosa biofilm matrix and genetic mechanisms necessary for its production are described. To reduce the risk of massive intra- and postoperative bleeding, we used preoperative endovascular occlusion of the vessels carrying blood to the tumor. This is due to frequent failure of antrodrain surgery, higher prevalence of mycotic infection and recurrent inflammation in the middle ear. Studies on enzymatic functions (uropepsin, glutathione, protease and lipase activity in the blood serum) revealed a decrease in adaptation processes in premature children with acute pneumonia, and during reconvalescence in children with hypotrophy. In premature neonates on formula feeding with a mixture of "Malyutka", the content of total lipids, cholesterol and phospholipids was lower than in children on natural feeding.
