This retrospective chart-review study was carried out using a database of osteoporotic hip fracture patients at a medical center in Taiwan for the period 2001-2007.

We used an outpatient database to retrieve information on anti-osteoporotic medications prescribed by a medical centre in southern Taiwan during 2001-2007.
