Artificial intelligence (AI) edge devices demand high-precision energy-efficient computations, large on-chip model storage, rapid wakeup-to-response time and cost-effective foundry-ready solutions. Floating point (FP) computation provides precision exceeding that of integer (INT) formats at the cost of higher power and storage overhead. Multi-level-cell (MLC) memristor compute-in-memory (CIM) provides compact non-volatile storage and energy-efficient computation but is prone to accuracy loss owing to process variation.

It is an autosomal dominant genetic disease commonly caused by a mutation of the thyroid hormone receptor beta (THR-β) gene. Manifestations of RTH can be variable, as one can be clinically euthyroid to hyperthyroid or hypothyroid.

Their structures were characterized using various spectroscopic analysis including HRMS, 1D and 2D NMR, and ECD analysis. All isolated compounds (1-7) were evaluated for their cytotoxic activity against human colon cancer cell line, HCT116, and it was found to exhibit moderate cytotoxic activity with IC values ranging from 4.

Background: The triple-negative subtype of breast cancer is particularly challenging to treat due to its aggressiveness with a high risk of brain metastasis, and the lack of effective targeted therapies. Tubulin beta 2B class IIb (TUBB2B), a β-tubulin isoform regulating axon guidance during embryonic development, was found to be overexpressed in various types of cancers including triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC). However, its functional roles in breast cancer or metastasis remain unclear.

However, the effectiveness of such systems incorporating algorithm-guided insulin titration has not been extensively studied in Asian populations.
Objective: This study evaluates the efficacy and safety of the ALRT telehealth solution-a US Food and Drug Administration-cleared, web-based platform that integrates SMBG with algorithm-driven insulin dose adjustments-in improving glycemia in insulin-treated T2D.
Background: Male nursing students face numerous challenges in learning and clinical practice due to occupational gender segregation and societal gender stereotypes. Although there is a role strain scale for nursing students of both genders, it is not specifically designed to assess role strain in areas such as community, family, peers, and nursing education among male nursing students.
Purpose: To develop and initially validate a Role Strain Scale for male nursing students.
Purpose: Many trainees lack competence in performing cold snare polypectomy (CSP), and longer observation periods using assessment tools, such as the Cold Snare Polypectomy Assessment Tool (CSPAT), may be required. However, these tools are not commonly used in busy academic endoscopy practices. This study evaluates the concordance between trainee self-assessment of CSP with expert assessment and assesses factors associated with concordance.

In Korea, the expensive freeze-drying method is used to manufacture brewer's dry yeast, and therefore an economical process such as fluidized bed drying is needed. In the dry yeast manufacturing process, the medium and drying conditions are key factors that determine its quality and manufacturing cost.

In this study, the microbial communities and sensory characteristics of twenty samples of Korean soy sauce () were investigated using shotgun metagenome sequencing and descriptive sensory analysis, and their correlations were explored by partial least square (PLS) regression analysis. The metagenome analysis identified 1332 species of bacteria, yeasts, molds, and viruses across 278 genera, of which , , and accounted for more than 80% of the total community.

In this study, we compared the plastid genomes (plastomes) and 45S nuclear ribosomal DNA (45S nrDNA) simultaneously from 10 PJ collections. Plastome-based phylogenetic analysis showed that the PJ accessions were monophyletic within the genus Peucedanum.

Propylthiouracil (PTU) is one of the anti-thyroid drugs (ATD) used in the treatment of hyperthyroidism. Rectal PTU should be considered by physicians as a valuable option for managing hyperthyroidism as an alternative route of administration for patients who cannot tolerate oral medications.

This four-year prospective study aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of aerosolized phage cocktails tailored to combat target antibiotic-resistant species of Acinetobacter baumannii, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, and Stenotrophomonas maltophilia. The decontamination procedure with phage aerosols was proactively implemented before the admission of ECMO patients based on a thorough analysis of phage typing results from bacterial species isolated from prospective patient areas during the preceding two months.

This study investigated the role of swimming exercise in regulating melanoma tumour growth and glycolysis in cancer cells, the specific mechanism involved was also studied. In our study, a murine melanoma tumour model was established to assess the impact of swimming on tumour growth. The mRNA and protein expressions were assessed using qRT-PCR, western blot, and IHC.

The absolute configurations of these compounds were determined through modified Mosher's method and quantum chemical calculation of electronic circular dichroism (ECD) and vibrational circular dichroism (VCD) spectra. Their inhibitory activities against PCSK9 secretion were assessed, and a plausible structure-activity relationship was delineated.

Triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) is an aggressive subtype of breast cancer with an unmet clinical need, but its epigenetic regulation remains largely undefined. By performing multiomic profiling, we recently revealed distinct super-enhancer (SE) patterns in different subtypes of breast cancer and identified a number of TNBC-specific SEs that drive oncogene expression. One of these SEs, TCOF1 SE, was discovered to play an important oncogenic role in TNBC.

The chemical structures and configurations of all isolates were established by various spectroscopic means and chemical derivatization. In a cell-based phenotypic assay using the adipogenesis model of human bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells (hBM-MSCs), grewiifolide B significantly promoted adiponectin-secretion with EC value of 24.
