Migraine is a chronic, recurrent neurovascular disorder characterized by episodes closely associated with neurovascular hypersensitivity. Methods: We used human melanoma A2058 and A375 cell lines to investigate the effects of Sal A on cell proliferation and death by measuring bromodeoxyuridine incorporation and lactate dehydrogenase release.
Background: Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), characterized by high-energy metabolism, often leads to malnutrition and is linked to exacerbations. This study investigates the association of malnutrition-related body composition and handgrip strength changes with exacerbation frequencies in COPD patients.
Methods: We analyzed 77 acute exacerbation COPD (AECOPD) patients and 82 stable COPD patients, categorized as frequent and infrequent exacerbators.
