Rechargeable aqueous Zn - MnO batteries show great potential for grid - scale storage due to cost - effectiveness and high safety. However, most of MnO cathodes suffer from irreversible phase transformation into spinel ZnMnO with reduced electrochemical activity after repeated charge/discharge cycles, leading to severe capacity decay. Herein, we reveal a strategic design utilizing glucose as the mediating agent to prepare nanostructured MnO/MnO material, which can be then transformed into lattice - expanded ZnMnO nanoparticles by electrochemical activation.

Objective: This retrospective study enrolled 621 patients at a tertiary medical center. To compare changes over time, the presentation of disease among the enrolled patients was divided into two equal time periods: the first study period (1986-2002) and the second study period (2003-2019).
Introduction And Hypothesis: The optimal duration of urethral catheterization during and after pelvic reconstructive surgery is not established. This study investigated the optimal duration of urinary catheterization in patients undergoing anterior vaginal repair with or without other vaginal surgeries.
Methods: A total of 90 patients were included from April 2007 to March 2008.
Tetrodotoxication was observed in six patients who ate gastropods from the South China Sea near Pratas Island. The pathogenic gastropod was Nassauris glans, which had not been previously mentioned in human tetrodotoxication. An extremely high level of tetrodotoxin was found in the causative gastropods, and a variety of clinical signs were observed in the survivors.
