Extraskeletal myxoid chondrosarcoma (EMC) is an ultrarare sarcoma typically exhibiting myxoid/reticular histology and NR4A3 translocation. However, morphologic variants and the relevance of non-EWSR1::NR4A3 fusions remain underexplored. Three challenging pan-Trk-expressing cases, featuring cellular to solid histology, were subjected to RNA exome sequencing (RES), unveiling different NR4A3-associated fusions.

We herein present two additional PRRX1-NOCA1-positive cases sharing lobulated hypocellular growth of innocuous spindle-to-stellate cells in a fibromyxoid stroma enriched with polymorphous vessels. A constellation of low cellularity, alternating myxocollagenous matrix, bland cytomorphology, and, especially, unusual collagenous rosettes in one case were morphologically reminiscent of low-grade fibromyxoid sarcoma.

This study analyzed a total of 19,430 never-smokers with no history of kidney stone disease who participated in the Taiwan Biobank from 2008 to 2019. They were divided into two groups by secondhand smoke exposure; no exposure and exposure groups; the mean age of participants was 51 years, and 81% were women.

During these years, autophagy raises its significance in tumorigenesis and tumor suppression, both important for tumor development. The aim of this study was to elucidate the relationship between two autophagy markers, LC3B and beclin 1, with clinical and pathological parameters in patients with meningiomas.
