Ultra-widefield retinal imaging for adjunctive resident training in retinal break detection.

We evaluated the clinical utility of ultra-widefield imaging as an adjunctive tool for training resident ophthalmologists in the detection of retinal breaks. This was a prospective study conducted at a secondary health care center (Tri-Service General Hospital) in Taiwan. Participants were 44 patients (53 eyes) who were referred to our hospital after being diagnosed with retinal breaks.
