Inhibition of oral pathogens and collagenase activity by seaweed extracts.

Fifty-seven species of common seaweed from the Coast of Korea were screened for antimicrobial (i.e. inhibition of Prevotella intermedia and Porphyromonas gingivalis growth) activity.
