The structural isomerism of atomically precise nanoclusters provides a preeminent theoretical model to investigate the structure-property relationships. Herein, we synthesized three bowl-like polyoxometalate (POM)-encapsulated Ag nanoclusters (denoted as {Ag14(Sb3W30)2}-1, {Ag14(Sb3W30)2}-1a, and {Ag14(Sb3W30)2}-2) via a facile one-pot solvothermal approach. Among them, for the first time, an unprecedented isomeric {Ag14}10+ nanoclusters are obtained in polyoxoanions {Ag14(Sb3W30)2}-1 and {Ag14(Sb3W30)2}-2, which should be probably induced by the different distribution of coordinating O atoms in two isomeric bowl-like {Sb3W30} ligands.

Modification of polylactic acid (PLA) is a promising strategy for the next generation of bioresorbable vascular stent biomaterials. We synthesized and evaluated a series of derivatives based on the pyrimidine-2,4-diamine scaffold as potential JNK1 inhibitors, incorporating bridging rings and spirocyclic modifications to enhance their inhibitory activity. These compounds were biologically assessed through JNK enzyme inhibition assays and Western Blot analysis. Compounds 13, 14 and 19 demonstrated significant inhibitory activity at both the enzyme and cellular level compared to the lead compound 1 and clinical candidate CC-90001.

Inorganic fillers play an important role in improving the ionic conductivity of solid composite electrolytes (SCEs) for Li-ion batteries. Among inorganic fillers, perovskite-type lithium lanthanum titanate (LLTO) stands out for its high bulk Li conductivity on the order of 10 S cm at room temperature. According to a literature survey, the optimal LLTO filler should possess the following characteristics: i) a single-crystal structure to minimize grain boundaries; ii) a small particle size to increase the filler/polymer interface area; iii) a 1D morphology for efficient interface channels; and iv) cubic symmetry to facilitate rapid bulk Li diffusion within the filler.
