Patient medication lists may not always accurately reflect the entirety of medications prescribed or taken; therefore, nurses are not aware of medication changes that occur in between dialysis treatments. This places patients at risk for medication-related problems or adverse events during treatment.

Educational methods are needed that foster a mindset of research and inquiry to help older adults thrive.
Method: A three-pronged educational hybrid was designed to help students create meaningful links between geriatric nursing theory in the classroom and application in the clinical setting.
Purpose: To determine whether using existing noise reduction strategies improves patients' overall satisfaction level during hospitalization on an adult outpatient cardiology unit and to assess whether noise reduction strategies were effective to decrease the ambient noise for both staff and patient environments.
Background: Excessive noise is a worldwide problem facing hospitals today. Noise has been proven to be detrimental to staff and patient well-being and hospital environment satisfaction levels.
