From 2019, in the United States and Europe, the synthetic opioid market has diversified with the appearance of the 2-benzylbenzimidazole family, commonly named "nitazenes". In vitro studies show that these synthetic opioids have much higher affinities on μ-opioid receptors: 100 times more than morphine, and slightly higher than fentanyl for isotonitazene, increasing the risk of overdose. In south of France, isotonitazene (IZN) was identified for the first time in March 2023.

One of the objectives of the CHASSE-MAREE protocol is to assess the composition and heterogeneity of LC products through successive LC sample collection campaigns among users. Currently underway, we present here the first analytical results (samples collected in 2022).

We report a patient, 42 year old with hepatic pseudo-tumor who was suspected to have pseudotumoral hepatic tuberculosis without immunodepression and treated by major hepatic surgery because no sure diagnosis. Therapeutic approach of hepatic inflammatory pseudotumors is often medical and surgical and may need major hepatic surgery in case of sure etiologic diagnosis.

Background/aims: Most patients who undergo surgical resection of colorectal liver metastases have been previously treated with chemotherapy as adjuvant therapy or as a primary treatment. The aim of this retrospective study was to compare morbidity, mortality, liver function and histology of the liver specimens in patients undergoing colorectal liver metastases (CRLM) resection with and without a history of previous chemotherapy.
Methodology: Records of 210 patients who underwent CRLM resection in our institution between January 1996 and March 2003 were retrospectively reviewed.

But, for old patients with multiple tares, carcinologic surgical resection as abdominoperineal amputation can not be considered. Management of rectal syndrome becomes a therapeutic challenge.

Materials And Method: From 1985 to 2003, 17 patients with a mean age of 50 years (range: 23-76) were reoperated after coloplasty pediculated on left superior colic vessels. Initial diseases were caustic ingestion (N=7), cancer (N=6), oesophageal perforation (N=2), gastric lymphoma (N=1) and oesotracheal fistula (N=1).
Study Aim: The aim of this retrospective study was to assess our experience of the laparoscopic surgery of pheochromocytoma. We report indications and results of laparoscopic and open adrenalectomy for pheochromocytoma.
Patients And Methods: Between january 1994 and may 2002, 50 patients underwent laparoscopic or open adrenalectomy for pheocromocytoma.

Patients And Method: From 1986 to 2001, 29 patients were surgically treated for suspected insulinoma. Preoperative imaging assessment was performed in 26 patients: ultrasonography (n = 21), computed tomography (n = 23), endoscopic ultrasonography (n = 13), intraoperative ultrasonography (n = 22) (2 of them under laparoscopic approach).
