Molecular catalysts often exhibit superior activity and selectivity in the process of photocatalytic reduction of CO (PCR). However, the practical application of molecular catalysts is restricted by the unsatisfied charge separation, low stability, and recycling difficulty. Fortunately, constructing organic-inorganic hybrids of molecular catalysts and semiconductors can tackle the above problems, which can improve the efficiency of charge separation and keep beneficial active sites simultaneously.

Herein, we report a three-dimensional covalent organic framework (3D-COF) with high crystallinity and permanent pores, termed 3D-TABPA-COF, for the oxidation of tetrahydroquinoline to quinoline. The 3D-TABPA-COF assembled based on ,-bis(4'-amino-[1,1'-biphenyl]-4-yl)-[1,1'-biphenyl]-4,4'-diamine (TABPA) is the catalytic active center for the conversion of tetrahydroquinoline.

The Pre-diabetes Intervention, Management and Evaluation (PRIME) programme is a community pharmacy-based pre-diabetes management programme that uses a mobile application for self-monitoring and pre-diabetes education, aiming to promote lifestyle changes among participants with pre-diabetes.
Methods And Analysis: This is a protocol for a cluster randomised controlled trial that aims to evaluate the impact of the PRIME programme on participants' clinical outcomes and explore participants' and pharmacists' views towards its implementation.
Despite best efforts in air purification, airborne infectious diseases will continue to spread due to the continuous emission of bioaerosols by the host/infected person. Hence, a shift in focus from air purification to bioaerosol inactivation is urgently needed. To explore the potential of the cold plasma technology for preventing rapid spread of airborne infectious diseases, we studied a cold plasma ionizer (CPI) device and an electrostatic precipitator (ESP)-coupled CPI (CPI-ESP) device for the inactivation and cleaning of surface-spread microorganisms and bioaerosols, using porcine respiratory coronavirus (PRCV), (), and aerosolized as representatives.

As a result, there is a growing need for homomorphic encryption hardware (HE-HW) for the edges, where low power consumption and a compact form factor are desired. Here, a Pt/TaO/Mo metallic cluster-type memristors (Mo-MCM) characterized by the Mo as a mobile species, and its utilization for the HE-HW via a 1-trasistor-1-memristor (1T1M) array as a prototype HE-HW is proposed.

Here, we report the catalytic system featuring isolated single-atom sites of iridium (Ir) that can function within the entire temperature range of 300-600 °C and transform alkanes with conversions close to thermodynamics-dictated levels. The high turnover frequency values of the Ir system are comparable to those of homogeneous catalytic reactions.

Apart from elevating the intrinsic activity, expanding the functionality of active sites may also boost catalytic performance. Here we designed "negatively charged Ag (nc-Ag)" active sites featuring both the intrinsic activity and the capability of regulating microenvironment, through modifying Ag nanoparticles with atomically dispersed Sn species.

While the role of crystal facets is well known in traditional heterogeneous catalysis, this effect has not yet been thoroughly studied in plasmon-assisted catalysis, where attention has primarily focused on plasmon-derived mechanisms. Here, we investigate plasmon-assisted electrocatalytic CO reduction using different shapes of plasmonic Au nanoparticles - nanocube (NC), rhombic dodecahedron (RD), and octahedron (OC) - exposing {100}, {110}, and {111} facets, respectively. Upon plasmon excitation, Au OCs doubled CO Faradaic efficiency (FE) and tripled CO partial current density (j) compared to a dark condition, with NCs also improving under illumination.

Focusing on microsatellite-stable colorectal cancer (CRC), this study investigates the potential of tumor-associated circular RNAs (circRNAs) as an alternative source of neoepitopes in CRC.
Methods: Tumor-associated circRNAs in CRC were identified using the MiOncoCirc database and ribo-depletion RNA sequencing of paired clinical normal and tumor samples.
We successfully developed a fluorescent drug sensor from clinically relevant New Delhi metallo-β-lactamase-1 (NDM-1). The F70 residue was chosen to be replaced with a cysteine for conjugation with thiol-reactive fluorescein-5-maleimide to form fluorescent F70Cf, where "f" refers to fluorescein-5-maleimide. Our proteolytic studies of unlabeled F70C and labeled F70Cf monitored by electrospray ionization-mass spectrometry (ESI-MS) revealed that fluorescein-5-maleimide was specifically linked to C70 in 1:1 mole ratio (F70C:fluorophore).

However, the common pyrolysis-based method usually leads to substantial uncertainty for the formation of DASs, and the precise identification of the resulting DASs is also rather difficult. In this regard, we developed a two-step specific-adsorption strategy (pyrolysis-free) and constructed a DAS catalyst featuring FeCo "molecular heterostructures" (FeCo-MHs).
